With a database of pre-entered Local Race Marks specific to various regions, users have the flexibility to choose familiar reference points or manually specify mark locations. The app meticulously incorporates local Magnetic Variation into all calculations, ensuring accuracy in navigation.
Additionally, the app features a TWA Calculator, which proves particularly useful during challenging situations, such as when fatigue affects mental clarity—an all-too-familiar scenario in offshore racing contexts.
For those who prefer detailed route planning, the ability to enter race courses using Bearing and Distance to the next mark, in conjunction with TWD, adds another layer of precision to the navigation process.
